REFUND POLICY

Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all ticket purchases made for Bali in England ("BIE") events—whether free or paid—through our official platforms or authorised third-party sellers. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any tickets, whether online, by phone, on-site, or via point-of-sale (POS) machines.

By purchasing or reserving a ticket, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

1. Types of Ticket Sales Covered

This policy applies to ticket sales for:

  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual events

  • Paid and free ticket reservations

  • Tickets purchased:

    • Online via our website or third-party platforms (e.g. Eventbrite)

    • In-person using POS machines at events

    • Over the phone via our booking team

    • On-site at the start of the event

 

2. Free Tickets / Registrations

While free tickets carry no financial cost, we ask that you only reserve a space if you genuinely plan to attend. No-shows reduce accessibility for others and impact planning. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your reservation through the ticketing platform or notify us at BIE@gmail.com or Baliinengland@gmail.com as early as possible.

 

3. Refund Eligibility

We understand that plans can change. Refunds for paid tickets will be issued in accordance with the following:

a) Refunds Requested Before the Event

  • 7+ days before the event: Full refund (minus any third-party transaction or processing fees, where applicable)

  • 2–6 days before the event: 50% refund

  • Less than 48 hours before the event: No refund, except in special cases (see Section 5)

b) Tickets Purchased On-Site or at the Start of an Event

Refunds for on-site purchases may be considered only in exceptional circumstances (e.g. event cancellation or force majeure). Refund requests must be made on the day of the event and will be reviewed individually.

 

4. Refund Processing Times

All approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method.

Please allow:

  • 3–10 working days for card or online payments (subject to your bank’s processing times)

  • Up to 14 working days for refunds via third-party ticketing platforms

We are not responsible for delays caused by your payment provider or banking institution. These timeframes will also be communicated during the ticket purchase process.

 

5. Special Considerations

Refunds may be granted on a case-by-case basis under the following circumstances:

  • Event cancellation by BIE

  • Severe weather, safety risks, or venue-related closures

  • Personal emergencies with supporting documentation (e.g. medical or compassionate reasons)

To request a special consideration refund, email us at BIE@gmail.com or Baliinengland@gmail.com within 48 hours of the event, clearly stating the reason and including any relevant proof.

 

6. Third-Party Platforms

If you purchased your ticket through a third-party platform (e.g. Eventbrite), their own refund policy and processing system will apply. Please check their terms at the time of purchase and submit any refund requests directly through their site.

 

7. Event Postponement

If an event is postponed (not cancelled), your ticket will remain valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you may request a refund following the time-based rules listed in Section 3.
